Our History

Our 3 locations were established in 1956 by optometrists who were dedicated to providing the best care to their patients. Dr. Kalmanson started the Valley Stream office, Dr. Kornblatt the Huntington office, and Dr. Kaden the Babylon office.

Dr. Wianecka opened her office as a cold start in 2004 and then in 2011 moved into the Babylon office started by Dr. Kaden. The second owner, Dr. Worksman was the owner who sold it to Dr. Wianecka who then moved her office into Dr. Wormans' office in Babylon.

In 2016, Dr. Wianecka acquired Dr. Nina Kalmanson and Dr. Purvin's office in Valley Stream and in 2019 Dr. Wianecka and her associate at the time, Dr. Blum acquired the Huntington location. Dr. Corinne Blum is now a partner in the Huntington office.
